Homeowners Against Deficient Dwellings to testify in New Jersey State investigation into widespread abuse of new home construction and inspections.

After many years of working with NJ State Agencies, HADD is glad to participate in hearings by the New Jersey State Commission of Investigation on the widespread abuses in the new home construction industry and new home inspections.

"Many American Dreams have turned into New Jersey Nightmares causing homeowners to lose their life savings and their trust in our judicial system. These hearings are a chance for these homeowners to speak up and be heard. " says Tracey Kelly President HADD NJ.

"We hope the information HADD can provide and the testimony from other consumers will result in action by our State Legislators to curb these abuses, provide more consumer protection for homebuyers, and to lower the risk of construction defects." continues Kelly.

Homeowners Against Deficient Dwellings is a volunteer organization dedicated to educating homebuyers and lawmakers of the lack of consumer protection for the largest investment made by most consumers, a new home. Members of HADD across the United States have testified in State hearings and legislation sessions.

The SCI hearings will take place Nov 18 and Nov 19 at at 9:30 in Committee Room 4 on the first floor of the Statehouse Annex. Please see http://www.state.nj.us/sci/ncirelease.pdf for details of this special event.
